The Space
Welcome to your home away from home! This apartment is a spacious 1 bedroom with high ceilings, and a warm artsy vibe. 15-minute walk to the Path station, which connects Jersey to Manhattan, 8 minutes to World Trade Center or 25 minutes to 34th St Midtown, it provides the perfect balance of accessibility without having to sleep in the middle of the city that never sleeps. Jersey City is quiet and serene, which is why I choose to call it home. :-) This apartment is set up for exclusively for Makent guests, but I do live in the building should you need anything
Guest Access
Guests will have access to a private washer/dryer in the unit. There is free wifi and cable TV including HBO and Netflix. The apartment is fully stocked with all essentials should you choose to cook in the apartment.
Interaction with Guests
As this is a private apartment guests have as much privacy as they'd like. However, as I live in the apartment above, I'm available in case guests have questions or need anything at all.
The Neighborhood
An unfamiliar neighborhood may seem intimidating at first, however once you are a little more acquainted, you begin to see the charm a diverse neighborhood brings. I've lived in this rapidly gentrifying neighborhood for over 15 years and I LOVE it! It is directly across from beautiful Lincoln Park. Lincoln Park is great for walking, jogging, and playing tennis. It is also the home of Jersey City's newest 9 hole golf course.
Getting Around
The apartment is about 15-20 minute walk to the Journal Square PATH Station which links Jersey to the heart of Manhattan. Journal Square is just 3 stops from World Trade Center and Greenwich Village or 5 stops to 34th Street Penn Station. Alternatively there is an Express Bus to Manhattan/Penn Station that is available from the top of the street.
